The IPL current defending champions Mumbai Indians registered a 102-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday to give Kolkata Knight Riders the worst defeat in the history of the Indian Premier League. This win was the third direct win of Mumbai Indians in this year IPL 2018 and this was MI eighth consecutive win against KKR in IPL history. With the win, Mumbai Indians went to fourth place in the IPL 2018 points table.
